I had PRK surgery in December, and I was constantly irritated for being unable to see or focus on anything. A week after my surgery they measured my vision at 70/20 (that's bad); I was terrified that my vision would never get better and my chances of an art-related career would be ruined. A week ago, I went to my two-month follow-up appointment and was ecstatic to hear that I officially have 20/20 vision! YAY!!! :squee:

They said that considering this was only my two-month followup that I still had a very good chance of them getting even better within the next month. This led me to daydream... what would I do with even better than 20/20 vision? Some suggested I would have x-ray vision and asked me if I really wanted to see through people's clothes, and you know what? As long as my x-ray vision would be selective, I would LOVE to be able to see through people's clothes! Who would want to have no control whose clothes you see through? :eyes:

I have visited Walmart many-a times before, and have already seen much more of those Walmartians without super vision than I have ever wanted. Just a few months ago, there was an old LARGE woman wearing nothing but flip-flops, curlers, and what I suspect are those shiny silver covers put on women at hair salons. I know that was all she was wearing because right as she caught my eye she bent over, revealing her wrinkly, curdled, enormous white bottom for the world to see. :puke:

On another note, I am procrastinating a 5-7 page research paper I have to write on M.C. Escher which is due tomorrow, but I would like done today, for my Art History class.  Even with my two other classes, 2D Animation (which unfortunately is still using Flash), and Literature 301; I am surprised that it is Art History class I absolutely cannot stand.

Anyway, felt like updating this so that is what has been going on.
  • Reading: Websites about M.C. Escher
  • Watching: The Big Bang Theory
  • Eating: Baby Food (don't judge me!)
  • Drinking: H²O

Oh, I see. I'm Navy. :XD:

My parents wanted me to join the Air Force, but I wanted to join the Navy and I did.

It's been interesting so far. I got to see Japan at least.

My deepest apologies. I had to remove 'Bonsai Art' from my gallery do to a lot of negative feedback saying that I shouldn't have posted it in my gallery. I will be writing a journal entry about "Tokyo Good Idea". That is the site of a lot of other art by the sculptor. I will be apologizing to all of those who have faved it.

Hi Rachel - I came across a picture you drew of a fish for a tattoo on someones foot. I really love it! Did she ever get it done? I was wondering if I can hire you to draw something like that for me? If you are interested please contact me at charbennett@gmail.com
